Das Rode VideoMic GO II ist speziell klein und leicht und passt auf alle Kameras, sofern sie Plug-In-Strom liefern (meine Sony-Kameras tun das alle).
Neben dem Mini-Jack-Ausgang für Kameras oder sonstige Recoder (siehe z.B. das Zoom H1 in meinen Artikeln) hat es auch einen USB-C-Ausgang. Damit kann man es am Computer, am Smartphone oder Tablet anschliessen. Dabei erlaubt die Rode-Applikation zusätzliche Funktionalitäten wie z.B. einen Hochpass-Filter.
Handling-Geräusche werden durch die flexible Aufhängung kompensiert, Windgeräusche hingegen durch den Windschutz. Ton wird hauptsächlich von vorn aufgenommen.
