Die Mamiya 7 ist eine analoge Mittelformatkamera und wurde ab 1995 produziert. Benötigt wird 120mm Film, pro Film können 10 Bilder geschossen werden. Die Bilder haben ungefähr das Format 5.6x7cm.
Fokussiert wird über das Messsuchersystem (Rangefinder) auf einen bestimmten Punkt im Sucher. Der genaue Bildausschnitt sowie die Tiefenschärfe des Bildes können nur abgeschätzt werden, da man nicht durch das Objektiv selber, sondern durch das Messsucherfenster schaut.
Die Kamera ist voll funktionsfähig und wird mit dem 65mm f/4 Objektiv oder 80mm f/4 zusammen vermietet. Ich biete folgende Objektive ebenfalls zum Vermieten 43mm, 210mm. Für Porträts (close-up) würde ich f/5.6 empfehlen. Das 65mm-Objektiv ist manchmal leicht schwergängig.
