Maroni Ofen für Zuhause
1. frische Marroni organisieren und mind 1 Stunde in eine Schüssel mit lauwarmem Wasser. Alle „Keschtn“, die oben schwimmen, werden aussortiert, denn die sind nicht mehr gut und schmecken bitter.
2. Danach ritzt man die Kastanien mit einem scharfen Messer einmal an der gewölbten Seite gut ein.
3. Kastanien etwa 15-20 Minuten in der vorgeheizte Ofen rosten und schwenkt diese hin und wieder, damit die Kastanien nicht anbrennen.
4. Nun gibt man die Kastanien in eine hitzebeständige Schüssel und legt ein angefeuchtetes Baumwolltuch darüber. Die Maroni am besten schälen und essen, solange sie noch warm sind.
