Das 12'/1′-Modell ist in einem Multifunktionsgehäuse untergebracht, das höchste Schalldruckpegel (135 dB MAX SPL peak) liefert. Ein schaltbares Filter konfiguriert ihn für den Einsatz als Topteil (mit zusätzlicher Langstreckenfähigkeit) in Systemen mit dem Linear Sub 2000/ 2000 A. Der L5 112 XA dient auch als exzellenter Monitor mit viel Verstärkung vor Rückkopplung, wobei das drehbare 60° x 40° CD-Horn ein vorbildliches Abstrahlverhalten bietet.
