Der AlienBees™ ABR800 ist ein leistungsstarkes, in sich geschlossenes Ringblitzsystem, das speziell für die Anforderungen der kreativen Profi-Fotografen der neuen Generation entwickelt wurde. Er ist äusserst kompakt, leicht und einfach zu bedienen und eignet sich für professionelle oder semiprofessionelle Kameras mit Objektiven bis zu 4 Zoll Durchmesser. Ein Studio-Ringblitz ist für den professionellen Fotografen ein unschätzbares Werkzeug, das sofort zu einem Lieblingswerkzeug wird, da er eine nahezu schattenfreie Ausleuchtung erzeugt und bei Mode- und Porträtaufnahmen einzigartige Lichtreflexe in den Augen der Motivpersonen hervorhebt.
Die Lichtleistung des ABR800 lässt sich von voller Leistung (320 Ws) bis hinunter auf 1/32 der Gesamtleistung (10 Ws) einstellen. Diese Blitzleistung wird am hinteren Bedienfeld mit einem Schieberegler eingestellt, der eine Einstellung in ganzen Blendenstufen und allen Stufen dazwischen ermöglicht. Bei der Einstellung von einer höheren auf eine tiefere Stufe leitet das Gerät die überschüssige Leistung automatisch ab, um eine präzise Lichtabgabe zu gewährleisten.
