The new SIRUI anamorphic lens creates an image circle large enough to cover APS-C sensors. Since the field of view is anamorphic, it is wider than any other conventional 35 mm lenses. It enlarges the horizontal field of view by up to 33% to achieve a FOV equivalent of an APS-C 26.3 mm lens. With sensor setting of 16:9, the result image comes in a 2.4:1 widescreen aspect ratio.
